In his latest book, “The Civilization of Fear”, Nicolas Bouzou promises a resolutely positive vision of our democratic societies and invites us to “have confidence in the future”.

How can we read, in this light, the political, social, economic, environmental and geopolitical tensions that cross our country and our continent? What is it permissible to trust? What are the axes for building the future?

Freshly back from the 2024 edition of the Rencontres de l’Avenir, Nicolas Bouzou will give us the pulse of the political and economic community and will share with us his perspectives in France and internationally during a debate moderated by our comrade François -Xavier Oliveau.

Entrepreneur, essayist and editorialist, Nicolas Bouzou founded Asteres in 2006, a research and consulting firm which relies on economic research to inform the decision-making of managers.

In 2018, he created the Rencontres de l’Avenir which brings together personalities from the intellectual, economic and political world every year in Saint Raphaël. He is the author of around twenty essays, a teacher at Paris II Assas and an editorialist at L’Express, on Europe 1 and LCI.
