HKS Dinner series

The future of public service education:
Takeaways from the creation of INSP in place of ENA

We are thrilled to invite you to the French HKS Chapter’s first event of 2022: an informal dinner at Le Bourbon, the iconic brasserie where members of the French National Assembly mingle.

What’s more, we have a conversation topic! Indeed, as you may know, the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA) was recently replaced by the new Institute for Public Service (INSP). During this transformation (headed by our very own Amélie de Montchalin, MPA 2014, by the way), HKS was frequently mentioned as an important benchmark.

So what if we discussed this topic while sharing a nice meal? Audrene, who participated as an expert to the INSP Commission will give a few introductory words. Then we’ll ask: what does this evolution say of the skills needed by public servants in the 21st century? How does it compare to the education we received at HKS? And to what we use as practitioners on the field in the public, non-profit and private sectors?

We hope it will be an interesting start to a fun evening!

Only 20 seats will be available for the dinner. Please save your spot by registering through XING at the link below. We look forward to seeing you!
