The Harvard Glee Club
The oldest US collegiate choir, The Harvard Glee Club is performing in Paris (for the first time in decades!)
Come see the Harvard Glee Club perform in the beautiful and historical American Cathedral of Paris on January 4, 2024 from 7 to 8:30PM.
The Harvard Glee Club’s 60 singers will perform a unforgettable blend of classical music, folk songs, and newly commissioned choral works–with a dash of pop tunes from their A Cappella subset!
This is a rare opportunity to see this choir in Paris: it only tours through Europe once every few decades. (Fun fact: did you know Leonard Bernstein was their accompanist when he was in college?)
On a more personal note: being an alum of the Glee Club myself, I would be very happy to see our community being strongly represented at this concert. My four years in the Glee Club were a huge part of what made me grow during college, and I’d be honored to share this passion with you.
Jeffery Durand
Emeritus Secretary General of the Harvard Club of France

More about the Harvard Glee Club
An ensemble of tenor and bass voices, the Harvard Glee Club is the oldest collegiate choir in the United States. Since its founding in 1858, HGC has cultivated and sustained the art of tenor-bass choral music through regular concerts at Harvard as well as around the world, with venues including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, Disney Concert Hall in LA, the Musikverein in Vienna, Austria, the Duomo di Firenze in Italy.
In keeping with this tradition, HGC’s upcoming international tour will take the group across Western Europe, with performances in London, Paris, Milan, Florence, Rome, Munich, and Lisbon.
