HCF Leadership Development Workshop in Marseille
Accessing new ways of seeing and transforming systems with MIT Leadership Theory U
Description
Join us for an experiential Theory U workshop during which we will explore awareness-based systems change tools that help us access new ways of seeing and transforming our systems, big and small, by leading from the emerging future rather than the blind spots of the past. Brooke Suter will introduce Theory U’s overarching concepts, deeply explore key tools related to the foundational 4 Levels of Listening, and apply these approaches in small group experiences. Frequently described as transformational in life and leadership, Otto Scharmer’s Theory U approach of presencing originated at MIT and has been adopted by a global community spanning 159 countries. Join us to see why!
Brooke Suter has had the pleasure of co-facilitating the MIT Sloan School of Management class, U-Lab: Transforming Self, Business and Society with Theory U founder Otto Scharmer for eight years. Prior, for 20 years she led diverse coalitions and campaigns that resulted in adoption of nationally precedent-setting environment and public health legislation, regulation and incentive-based programs in the United States. Ms Suter now coaches individuals and organizations to holistically address the climate crisis by supporting both personal thriving and action empowerment. Brooke is an active Harvard alum, currently acting as co-creator and Chief Action Officer for the Harvard Climate Action Training, which is offered free of charge to alumni.
